PPMCC's First Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos) Celebration

PPMCC’s inaugural Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos) celebration will take place in two parts, and we hope you can join us for one or both events. Día de Los Muertos is an ancient tradition that helps us honor and celebrate the lives of beloved people and pets who have passed away, while offering a healthy way to process grief.

Our celebration kicks off after the Sunday, Oct. 27 church service with cookie decorating and various crafts, all centered around a Day of the Dead theme. These items can be used to create remembrance altars (called ofrendas) at home or placed in the sanctuary on Friday, Nov. 1.
