Learn how to confidentially raise a safety, conduct, accessibility, or community concern.
Emergencies
For immediate assistance during an in-person worship service or church activity, speak with a greeter, usher, security representative, or church leader. In an emergency or immediate threat to life or safety, get to a safe location and call 911 before following any church procedures. Confidential Concerns & Reporting
PPMCC is working to establish a confidential reporting process for concerns involving safety, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, financial practices, church leadership, staff, volunteers, or other serious matters.
A confidential or anonymous online reporting form is not currently available.
Until the process is finalized, members are encouraged to follow PPMCC’s Direct Dealing Policy when it is safe and appropriate to do so. The policy encourages people to address concerns directly, honestly, and respectfully with the person involved.
Direct dealing may not be appropriate in situations involving threats, abuse, harassment, retaliation, serious power imbalances, suspected criminal activity, or when contacting the person directly would feel unsafe.
For an emergency or immediate threat to life or safety, call 911.
For urgent, non-life-threatening concerns, contact an appropriate church leader or outside authority. Do not send a concern to someone who is personally involved in the matter.
